During the Explore phase we will assess your provided brief, and gain a deep understanding of where your product will fit within the commercial and technological landscape. We will explore your product's core user and market needs, identifying potential challenges and opportunities.

We can conduct technology scouting to help you understand current and emerging innovations, and pinpoint new product categories for your future roadmap. Drawing on our wealth of research expertise, we will help you gain the edge over your competition, ensuring investment in the right technologies at the earliest possible stage.

Based on the organised findings from the explore phase, the Define phase identifies the key focus, scope and objectives of the project. Taking into account the known specifications, limitations and budget, we will define a set of inputs to shape your vision and provide a baseline for reference throughout the project.

At this stage, we can begin to shape what success will look like, paving the way for the next phase of development.

The Ideate phase provides an opportunity for creative collaboration. During this part of the process, we will generate multiple ideas, consulting closely with you to ensure they address the original inputs. We will identify challenges and propose solutions, ensuring we remain focussed on the specifications and goals identified in the Define phase.

Listening closely to your feedback, we will then extract the most successful ideas which we will carry through to the Develop phase. More information on the Ideate phase can be found under Concept Generation in the Expertise section

In the Develop phase, you will really see your idea taking shape. We will establish functional limitations and solve complex design and engineering challenges, with prototyping being used as a tool throughout to test and solidify ideas. We will also refine design specifications, select materials and agree processes.

In the latter stages of this phase, a detailed evaluation will be performed to establish feasibility, leading to further defining and adjustment of features and conducting verification to confirm all requirements have been met. In the Fulfill phase, we will present final designs and specifications for manufacture, providing everything you require to validate your product. We can liaise with suppliers throughout pilot and volume production, supply you with marketing and promotional materials, and support quality and regulatory submissions. From this point, we can act on the next stages of your roadmap, future product pipeline, and continuous improvement.
